What do you need to know?

Counselling is a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings and experiences without fear of judgement and I will sit alongside you through this process.

It offers you the time and support to explore what may be troubling you—whether that’s anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or feeling overwhelmed by life.

Through counselling, you can begin to:

  • Understand yourself on a deeper level
  • Make sense of your emotions
  • Develop healthier ways of coping
  • Build confidence and resilience

At its heart, counselling is about being heard, supported and empowered to make positive changes at your own pace.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to take the first step.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes there isn’t one clear problem—just a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right.

Counselling can also be helpful if you simply need space to talk and feel heard.

There is no “right” reason to come to counselling. If something is affecting your wellbeing, that is reason enough.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of positive change.

The price for a 50 minute session is £45. You will be emailed a payment link prior to the session or can pay on the day.

Sessions are held weekly, as counselling is proven to be most successful this way. This gives  you regular time and space to reflect, process, and make sense of your experiences.

We will review how things are going along the way, and you are always in control of how long you continue.

Counselling isn’t about rushing to a finish line—it’s about giving yourself the time and support you need.

Sessions can take place either in person or online. We can also explore walking therapy, a gentle and effective way of working together outdoors while benefiting from movement and nature. We can discuss which option feels most comfortable and suitable for your needs during our initial consultation.

There is no set length for counselling, as everyone’s journey is different, I work in an open ended way and will be led by you.

Some people come for a few sessions to talk through a specific issue, while others choose longer-term support to explore things more deeply. We can work together at a pace that feels right for you.

It’s completely natural to feel nervous about reaching out for counselling. Taking that first step can feel daunting, especially if you’re not sure what to expect.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. Whether you have a clear reason or just a feeling that something isn’t quite right, you are welcome to reach out.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, talk a little about what’s bringing you to counselling and see if working together feels right for you.

You can contact me by:

There is no pressure to continue after the consultation—it’s simply a gentle first step.
