About Lauren
I am a fully qualified counsellor offering a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). This means I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach—everyone’s experiences are unique and therapy should reflect that.
By integrating different approaches, I am able to tailor our work to suit your individual needs. We might focus on understanding how past experiences shape your present, explore patterns in relationships or develop practical tools to help you manage difficult thoughts and emotions.
At the heart of my work is the belief that being truly heard and understood can be a powerful starting point for change. I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel supported to make sense of your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Sessions are usually held weekly, providing a consistent and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I also offer a free 20-minute initial consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and see if working together feels right for you.
